The Explosion-proof Electric Apparatus related standards have been changed Certificate conversion is in progress

25 August 2022

The new series of national standard GB/T 3836-2021 was formally implemented on May 1, 2022. Certification and Accreditation Administration of the P.R.C (CNCA) has revised the list of certification standards in the Implementation Rules of Compulsory Product Certification for Explosion-proof Electric Apparatus (CNCA-C2301: 2019). To ensure the implementation rules for explosion-proof electric apparatus are effectively implemented, CQC has also revised the related implementing rules (CQC-C2301-2019).

Clients who have obtained the compulsory certificate of explosion-proof electric apparatus (i.e. explosion-proof CCC certification) should complete the certificate conversion process from old standards to new standards before April 30, 2023. If the certificate conversion is not completed within the time limit, the relating certificates will be suspended by the issuing authority. If the certificate conversion is not completed before July 31, 2023, the relating certificates will be revoked by the issuing authority.
